| Wind disaster is one of the most serious natural disasters in China. A large number of post-disaster investigations show that the number of damaged rural buildings caused by wind disaster occupies a large proportion in that of all. At present, there is no specific code for the field of wind-resistance in code system in our country. Therefore, it has great practical significance to study on the field of wind-resistance of rural buildings. It is the basis of wind-resistance research to study the characteristics of wind load on building surface. Numerical wind tunnel method is an important method to study on the characteristics of wind load on the surface of rural buildings. The method of using numerical wind tunnel technology on rural buildings has been studied in this dissertation,and the property of wind load on the surface of rural buildings has been studied intensively.Firstly, an investigation has been conducted which is about the situation of damaged buildings induced by wind disasters in some areas of Henan and Anhui provinces, and a survey has been done which is about building structures in parts of Tianjin .On the basis of these surveys, combined with the nationwide research about status of rural buildings carried out by China Academy of Building Research (CABR), the structure of rural buildings, the situation of breakage caused by wind disasters and the reasons for the breakage have been summarized in this paper.On the basis of investigation, the numerical simulation method of using ANSYS FLOTRAN CFD to simulate wind pressure on the surface of rural buildings, according to the theory of the numerical wind tunnel method, has been studied, and reasonable size of calculation region and proper meshing method have been gained. It provides a certain reference for the following work and the actual wind tunnel test.Numerical simulation of wind field around one building and of wind load on the surface of that building has been made in this paper. The buildings which are simulated include a flat-roof house and 12 double-slope-roof houses, and suffer wind coming from four different directions. Through the analysis of results, the location of dangerous areas appearing on the surface of rural buildings which suffer wind has been gained, and a slope which is favorable for wind-resistance has been got. These results provide a certain guidance and reference for the implementation wind-resistance work in actual project.Based on the above research, different wind-resistant measures for different kinds of rural buildings have been proposed. |
