Gear is a typical line of contact parts, and in modern mechanical engineering is widely used, because of the involute helical gear transmission torque, smooth transmission, the impact of small, more widely use in important occasions that have high required precision. In this paper, we research the involute helical gear reducer used in chemical production process , which is characterized by the small transmission power, constant load, requiring the high transmission ratio accuracy. However, involute helical gear reducer after a long period of working, gear tooth surface will gradually wear out, the tooth profile will change following the wear, no longer is the ideal involute, resulting in the contact conditions will change with the gear wear,the transmission speed is no longer stable, affecting the quality of chemical production, so the study on involute helical gear wear is important.This paper describes the development of wear calculation and summarizes the current Development Status of the involute cylindrical gear wear on the experimental techniques and simulation technology domestic and international, describes gear wear mechanism and three types of wear gear calculation principle, then use line contact parts wear calculation of the general model, with numerical method, disperse the gear tooth profile into a number of contact points, disperse the dynamic process of the gear wear into a number of quasi-static process, and establish numerical model of the dynamic process of considering the involute wear gear tooth profile changing, each wear height and the transmission accuracy ratio of the gear wear of each discrete contact point in each quasi-static process were calculated , and simulate the involute helical gears, calculate the transmission ratio accuracy after the wear and analysis of other factors on the gear accuracy.Its main tasks : the establishment of mathematical model of involute helical gear,the calculating of the state parameters of each discrete contact points on the tooth profile, the determining the meshing circumstances of each contact point, and the calculating of the wear height, the instantaneous transmission ratio and the transmission ratio accuracy of each discrete contact point, further analysis the influence on the gear wear of the input power and the mechanical power, compared to involute spur gear transmission ratio accuracy of the wear, and finally proposed to reduce the involute helical gear reducer wear of specific measures.
