Research On The Pine-Scape Of Classical Garden Of China

The Construction of Pine-landscape started since the ancient times and was widespread, it has lots of enlightment to modern garden landscaping on the cultural inheritance and development, spatial organization, control and guidance of the view, the creation of space atmosphere and space feeling.Landscape Plants is the most active element in Chinese Classical Garden Landscaping and they form a rich cultural meaning under the influence of Chinese traditinal culture. In which Pine palys a very important role because of its unique biological and cultural heritage. There are lots of Pine-landscape in almost all garden types during the different ages.At both views of history and culture, this paper focus on the pine-landscape, which including the samples selecting, field mapping and literature analysis at those locations involves Pine at the poetry board or sights naming. Above all, this paper works on the construction history of Pine in Chinese classical gardens from macroscopic to microscopic, and divide it into five times: from Qin to Han dynasty, Wei Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Sui dynasty and the Ming and Qing according to people's understanding of Pine-Landscape, constructing methods and evolution of pine space atmosphere. The developments of Pine-Landscape's construction at different times are abstained as well. Then the three aesthetic properties of pine are summed up creatively,which are biological aesthetic properties, literary properties, and garden attributes properties. Bio-aesthetic properties includes pine's beauty in gesture and vigorousness; literary properties is mainly attributed to many literary images such as' Cemetery pine" "The Pine proudly stangding in the cold" "The pine in the bottom of mountain stream" "Little pine " and "The pine as pillars of wood," etc.Garden attributes properties is related to "Aesthetics of sound-scape ", " Aesthetics of moral character and " Aesthetics of artistic conception"The paper emphasized the construction of Pine-Landscape in terms of Pine-Landscape made by real image and the Pine-Landscape made by virtual image.
