Being the key connection between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit, the steam generator is marked with frequent fault. As a result, its safe and secure operation plays an important part in the whole nuclear power station. Since the water level system is nonlinear and time-varying, the relevant parameters change a lot with the power level varies. Comparing with pure PID Control, adoption of Intelligent Control strategies seems necessary.Based on the operation theory of the water level of steam generator, this paper firstly describes the control system and main factors of the water level of steam generator, after analysis of the model for water level of the steam generator in the simulation platform of nuclear power, the paper reaches the simplified model, and whose model is proposed. In order to make up for the weak points, the application of fuzzy adaptive PID controller, fuzzy immune PID controller and fuzzy-Smith controller are proposed to regulate in the water level of steam generator, and of which response curves have been studied. Finally, the feasibility of fuzzy controller has been verified by designation and realization of fuzzy PID controller on the simulation platform of the nuclear power plant. The paper researches on the water level of the steam generator, and uses the Fuzzy-PID control as its application. The module of Fuzzy-PID Control is tested to be reasonable and the whole system operate stable. Compared with the traditional curve by PID Control, the curves by the Fuzzy control have observed advantages in stability during a short-time wave of, and it shows small overshoot. In all, Fuzzy control method has some prospect.
