Because of their reasonable forcing,simple making, large-span steel structures have been constructed more and more greatly. But at the same time, large-span steel structures are also those personnel-intensive and characterized by strong signs buildings, so they easily become the target of the terrorist bombings. So the paper discusses the research method of explosion resistance for large-span steel structures. With the method of numerical simulation, and double-layer spherical reticulated shell structure which is one of the large-span steel structures is carried out.1,By using ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the finite element model of a double-layer reticulated shell structure is presented for the simulation of explosion in air, the results show a well consistent with empirical formula, the reliability of model and material parameter is proved, so the basis for numerical simulation of explosion in building was provided. With many experimental datas, Considering the different situation of the roof opening,the implosion shockwave overpressure formulas were put out.2,Based on the results of numerical simulation, using Ritz-POD method, the influences of some parameters to the dynamic response of the double-layer spherical reticulated shell structure under the explosive wave are discussed. These parameters are TNT equivalent,the height of the wall,the rate of roof holes,and the explosive position in the structure. The result as that: the value of the dynamic response increases is larger as the TNT equivalent increases; dynamic displacement of structure increases evidently with the reduce of holes on roof, the blast wave accumulates serious on the roof; the position of explosion is more far from structure center, the value of the dynamic response is larger, more disadvantageous to structure of anti-explosion. 3,Reference "Code for seismic design of buildings" and DoD standard etc, anti-explosion fortification goal of large-span space steel structure is put forward. Then, according to the anti-explosion design method of Civil building, which presented by American Society of Civil Engineers in 1996,design method for resistance to internal explosion of the large-span space steel structure is obtained preliminarily. It is hoped to offer reference for Anti-explosion design of large-span space steel structure.
