Research On Narrative Design Method In Urban Open Space

This introduction to the field of narrative theory of literature and other relevant methods to the new perspective of urban open space design narrative expression. This expression is the spatial structure of narrative structure and the coupling between the main line and the narrative thread through the expression of design techniques for space. Creative reference movie "montage " of expression, to seek a kind of internal logic and meaning of spatial order, and behavior patterns through space and the use of narrative expression of cultural symbols to construct a rich sense of place in the urban space.In this paper, based on space design and its related theory, interdisciplinary research on the "narrative space ","narrative design " and other related concepts are defined, and thus from the perspective of interdisciplinary research in the field, and build the basis of this research. Structural elements from the narrative of urban space in the logical combination of sequence, narrative thinking foundation - the spirit of place, narrative operating practices - montage, narrative ideographic approach - cultural symbols in the urban open space among the adaptability aspects were discussed and analyzed, design method presented in the narrative to montage "clip space" approach, the expression of cultural symbols and spatial behavior of the three psychological integration, and were applied to the memorial, cultural, and enjoyable type of space, combined with a comprehensive exposition of the actual cases of narrative thinking in the design of urban open space, the characteristics and methods. In view of these characteristics and methods, narrative space constructed the basic framework for quality evaluation. The innovation of this paper is to introduce the spatial theory of narrative literature, from the perspective of a new space design methods, expanding the field of urban design method.
