In recent twenty years, as a new-type bridge, concrete-filled steel tubular(CFST) arch bridge has been deeply developed in our country, But the study on design theories of concrete-filled steel arch bridges gets relatively behind the engineering practice and less accumulation of the theory. In particular, there is no formal specification in such bridge design, construction and inspection, testing, maintenance, repair and other fields at home and abroad. Resulting in the CFST arch bridge has been built, there were many problems. Through scientific investigation, testing, and analysis of the problems, on the CFST arch bridge design, construction, maintenance and other related preparation of specifications to make some useful suggestions, is of great significance.In this paper, with the preparation of CFST arch bridge's specifications, we investigated the status of the bridge and the disease situation of the Fengjie Meixi River Bridge, Heyang Bridge, Wushan Yantgze River Bridge in Chongqing, and collected the domestic investigation, testing data of other bridges. On this basis, analyzed the main diseases of CFST arch bridge, clarified its pathogenesis, and made some useful suggestions to the preparation of specifications of CSFT bridge. This paper mainly studies the contents as follows:①Describes the development of domestic and international CFST arch bridge profiles, and briefly describes the formal diseases of such bridges and research status;②Collect and sort out a lot of CFST arch bridges of investigation and testing documents, classify and analyze the main disease of these bridges;③In view of these collected dates are mostly scattered, For obtaining systematic first-hand investigation dates, Investigate the status of the bridge and the disease situation of the Fengjie Meixi River Bridge, Heyang Bridge, Wushan Yantgze River Bridge in Chongqing, and analyze the main reasons of these diseases. Focus on the vibration disease, establish the finite element model of Heyang Jialing River bridge, and different structural types of steel arch bridge vibration properties are studied in detail, provide a reference for the new such bridges;④For the diseases situations of collected and surveyed, from the design, construction, maintenance, materials, testing and other aspects of CFST arch bridge, make some useful suggestions to the preparation of specifications of CSFT arch bridge.
