| The heat characteristics of cooling water, the basic methods of water intake-outlet layout, the corrosion types and principles of the cooling system, corrosion analysis and prediction model are firstly presented in this paper. Then, the layouts of march-past method, differential method and elipsed form method are simulated numerically by CFD software. The scope and extent of impact on environmental water of three methods are analyzed and compared by using of the distributions of flow field and temperature field of horizontal and vertical cross-sections near inlet and outlet and the computed diffusion distance of cooling water. It can be found that because of the strong extraction of pump, under the same conditions, the area affected by the heat for the differential method is least, the elipsed form the secondary, the march-past method largest. The influence of cooling water on water inlet temperature is simulated by changing the diameter of the water intake-outlet canal and their horizontal spacing under the other conditions remain unchanged in the case of actual differential method. It can be seen from the results that the impact of thermal discharge can be reduced, the temperature of water intake can be lower, the vacuum value of the unit can be increased by appropriately reducing the diameters of canal and increasing the spacing of intake-outlet pipelines. The relationship between corrosion rate of cooling system and its location is gained by gray model on the basis of gray prediction theory. The factors that mostly affect the corrosion of cooling system can be found by grey relational analysis. The conclusion that lower temprature of water intake has a positive effect on reducing corrision in a certain range is obtained by analyzing the relationship between the temprature of water intake and corrosion rate. Synthetically considering the layout of water intake-oulet and selecting the most appropriate way can reduce temperatures of water intake water, reduce corrosion, improve the economy of the plant. Finally, the impacts on the water environment, the tempratures of water intake and the corrosion of cooling system are concluded, new views and ideas are put forward. |
