Capacitance equipments are the important power transmission and transformation equipment, its reliable and stable operation is to ensure the safety of the electricity system production. Currently, applied capacitance equipments fault diagnosis system cannot predict fault development way and speed for the equipment, which has no malfunctions or inconspicuous fault symptoms, so the study of capacitance equipment fault warning has theoretical significance and practical value. This paper based on capacitive equipments common damp fault as research contents, studied its degree characterization and warning methods. The main work accomplished includes the following.According to capacitance equipments fault characteristic monitoring needs, this paper, based on virtual instrument technique, developed a set of high-precision capacitance equipments insulating properties test system. This testing system, with high-speed synchronous digital measurement technology, used the harmonic analysis method to calculate the dielectric dissipation factor; through test and running, the system was confirmed that it was reliable, stable and had an accurate data collection.Aiming at capacitance equipments insulation damp, as a typical fault, this paper proposed capacitance equipments damp fault model design scheme based on real equipment, and produced the corresponding fault model. Based on the model, set damp fault artificially for current transformer, apply test system to accomplish the damp t insulating properties of the current transformer, won the micro water content of insulating oil and tanδ, discharge current, resistance of current and of capacitance relation curves, explore the insulation damp fault warning value. According the experimental to set prediction model, obtained the fault equipment micro water content development route and rate.Finally, this paper proved the feasibility of fault warning for capacitive equipment, by the example analysis, where tanδas the characteristic parameter, micro water content of insulating oil as threshold value.
