With the increasing development of science and technology, the demand of various types of rotating machinery's operation speed, carrying capacity, working life and other aspects have become increased. If these mechanical equipment in the event of failure, it will result in major accidents and huge economic losses. So, it is significant for enterprises and the national economy to ensure safe and reliable operation and the failure of timely diagnosis and rapid decision-making of rotating machinery. Thus, the vibration monitoring and analysis techniques for rotating machinery have become a rapid development and popular at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the rotating machinery condition monitoring and modern fault diagnosis of technology. The C++ language, VC6.0 exploitation platform, NI Wireless data acquisition card and visual programming of object-oriented design method are used to develop a set of rotating machinery vibration test analysis and fault diagnosis system. The overall structure design and function implementations of the system is described, according to the functional requirements edited the codes, greatly improved the efficiency of software programming and versatility. The system has functions of real-time display, data acquisition, time domain analysis, frequency domain analysis and fault diagnosis to achieve single-channel, multi-channel data acquisition and storage, real-time graphics display of the time-frequency domain. Vibration analysis includes waveform spectral analysis, orbit analysis, bar chart analysis, trends and inverted frequency spectrum analysis and amplitude analysis. During the study about fault diagnosis, use diagnosis method based on fuzzy fault diagnosis, the six common faults were studied to rotor system. Finally, do the simulation experiments with bently rotor rubbing test bed, by the diagnostic analysis, the fault simulation results are consistent with the experiment, which proved that the method is effective, but also verified that the functionality of software systems achieve the desired requirements. In addition, the system has a beautiful interface, user convenience, high reliability, stable run and so on. Development of such a distinctive and useful fault diagnosis system of rotating machinery, whether in economic or technical, has a positive significance.
