Tied arch bridge has its own advantages, On the one hand it will still to be strong competitor of long-span bridges. On the other hand it is also one of the preferred bridges which have a beautiful shape. In recent years,with the development of the theory of statically indeterminate structure and the application and popularization of new Construction technology,tied arch bridge has been rapidly developed. In this thesis, with a practical project which is arch -continuous beam structure system.it is another new structure of tied arch bridge. The main feature of the bridge is that the main arch ribs and main stringers are consolidated. So it increases the stiffness of structure, especially the lateral stiffness, finally increasing the lateral stability of the main arch ribs.But the consolidated parts of the structure aer complicated, furtherly exacerbated the complexity of forces in this site. Therefore, mechanical properties of this bridge is not thoroughly understood for us,the analysis of the mechanical simulation for this new tied arch structure is very necessary, to verify the rationality of the bridge structure system.Fristly,this thesis introduces the development of arch bridge,arch category and arch theory of computation,then, simplly describes the background and structure of this bridge. MIDAS calculation software was used to establish a full-bridge spatial element analysis model. Analysis in construction stage and service stage of this tied arch bridge was proceeded by finite element analysis software MIDAS.Secondly,general calculation procedure ANSYS was used to calculate the elastic stability,geometric nonlinear sability,material nonlinear stability and dual nonlinear stability, and the main effect parameters of stability of tied arch bridge were analyzed.Lastly, ANSYS dynamic finite element analysis model taking account of the pile-soil interaction was established.The dynamic characteristics of the bridge was calculated, and the effect of soil stiffness on structural dynamic characteristics was analyzed. Subsequently, response spectrum analysis and time history dynamic analysis were carried out on this bridge and the results of two were compared.
