30 years of reform and opening-up, China's rapid economic growth, along with the rapid urbanization, a number of mega-cities have emerged, increasing the pressure of traffic supply. Currently in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, urban rail transit network has been formed. Nanjing, Shenzhen and other large cities'urban rail transit network has also come into being. Chengdu, Shenyang, Wuhan, and other major cities' rail transportation are also under construction. The urban rail transit construction is expected to come up to 2500km at the end of "the 12th Five-Year Scheme". As China's urban rail transport network gradually facilitates, the transfer rail or rail transit system on the efficiency is more and more obvious, but the current line interface designs still have many problems. For example, most of the interface design places of the suburb line and urban lines in Beijing are set at the edge of the city, which is neither most suburban passengers'destinations nor major distribution point, resulting in a high proportion of transfer. Therefore, urban rail and urban rail transport convergence study has great practical significance.From the study of urban rail and its transport background and significance, as well as the order of technical line, this paper first introduces the foreign cities'transport network such as Paris, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, London, and summarizes the main link ways between urban rail and urban rail transit:Transfer Cohesion, Collinear Cohesion and Parallel Cohesion. Then, it states a brief overview on rail transportation systems of three domestic cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou) and lists the type of the current rail transit, urban rail concept and its technical characteristics. According to the analysis of link function from the aspects of the city's feature, the rail system and the flow of passengers, the purpose of perfect links is to meet the demand. The paper also has a deep analysis on the link measures from three aspects:the passengers, construction and operation business and the government. The link measures stress the combination of science and practice. It gets evaluation index from the characteristics of rail links and then forms the evaluation indicator system. The system consists of 16 indicators, divided into two categories:indirect benefit index and direct benefit index. According to the characteristics of different indicators, it gives a comprehensive evaluation based on the application of economic evaluation of direct benefit index and the application of entropy evaluation model and forms the final proposal. Finally, according to the analysis of the link mode between Changsha Line 10 and urban lines, the paper states a relatively ideal link mode.This paper applies a collection of research methods such as theoretical research and empirical analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. It achieves the theory with practice, and in particular, it takes notice of the significance of research results and practical significance. The technological achievements have a strong and instructive significance to the future rail transit network construction.
