With China's urbanization advancement and the level of urbanization rising, the motor vehicle quantity is growing quickly. But at the same time, the infrastructure of transportation cannot satisfy the rapid increase of the motor vehicles. The road congestion, pollution and other urban traffic problems are becoming serious. So make certain urban automobiles scale growth limit, reasonable control vehicle increase urban is urgent. Motor vehicle scale growth is a multiple factors; this paper emphatically the social phenomenon from urban road network capacity level and motor vehicle quantities relationship of research and urban road network capacity, matching city motor vehicle quantities to control the size of city traffic management and control has certain reference value.In this paper, the author discusses the influence of urban road network capacity level factors first, analyzes road traffic system external resources environment system and the social economic system, the influence of bearing capacity of road traffic system internal parking system, public traffic system, the influence of bearing capacity of road network system itself to the influence of road network bearing capacity, the urban road traffic environmental capacity, service level, parking system influence, the public transport system influence parameters, it is concluded that introducing spatio-temporal consumption law amended network capacity calculation model; Secondly analyzed the influence factors of motor vehicle quantities scale, and points out that the control motor vehicle quantities scale growth strategy must be based on the network capacity is explicit motor vehicle quantities to control the size limit, the scale of motor vehicle quantities and vehicles analysis, this paper puts forward the relationship between travel rate vehicle travel rate prediction model; Then the concept of road network bearing capacity proposed, and the classification level of road network bearing capacity analysis of the relationship between horizontal and motor vehicle quantities from urban traffic management goal, the network capacity that amount, motor vehicle travel level calculate the motor vehicle quantities to control the size, and the application case scenes from reduce demand analysis, and put forward improving capacity pressures and promote the urban traffic capacity levels of strategic measures and relevant policy Suggestions.
