In recently years, urban rail transit has become main coronary artery, making great contribution for untwining of urban traffic. But as the hub of urban rail transit network, transfer station itself has a severe problem of jam as a result of internal or external great passenger volume exchange. Restricted by the cost and the field environment, enlarging scale unlimitedly is impossible. Therefore, how to arrange the pedestrian facilities in transfer station of urban rail transit and optimize the organization plan of passenger volume has become a subject that deserves to research prudently.This article analyze the function of station in urban rail transit network firstly and is to summarize transfer methods and transfer types, combined with the transfer principles. The advantages and disadvantages of transfer methods and transfer types are also to be analyzed. Then through the field investigation on traffic features of stations of Guangzhou Metro in rush hours, traffic features and distribution laws of passenger in pedestrian facilities are simulated and summarized. The parameters of the speed, the density and the flow of passengers in pedestrian facilities and the relationship of them can be obtained. On this basis, this article analyzes the conflict points in passenger's walking route and the delay situation of passenger in passenger flow streamline and obtain the calculation method of quantity and scale of quantity and scale in transfer hub.This thesis builds a multi-objective programming model based on the overall efficiency's maximization of the passenger flow organization in the switch hub so as to reasonably select and evaluate the facilities allocation plan in the switch hub.Quantitative formulas are drawn for every objective by analyzing the objective of station capacity, passenger transfer capacity, the time for passengers to get in station & on board and to transfer, and the cost of facility constructions etc. in the model.Finally, the pedestrian facilities allocation plan of Wuyi Square Station in Changsha subway system was taken as an example, the whole quantities and calculation methods of which are applied to get three allocation plans; then the optimal method will be selected out by the multi-objective programming model, in the meantime, the rationality and feasibility of the model was testified and verified.
