The cable-stayed bridge is a combination system bridge which is made up of tower, cable, beam. The presence of cable, which greatly improved the stress state of the main beam, but also due to the presence of cable, the cable-stayed bridge has become a high order indeterminate structure, the structure calculation becomes complicated. In the design work, how to determine the reasonable finished state of a cable-stayed bridge and how to determine the reasonable construction status of a cable-stayed bridge are difficult. Cable-stayed bridge which adjust the structure of the internal force and deformation by connection the cable, coordination and cooperation among the various components and adjust the stiffness of a component system is a combination system,Based on a practical project, the author builds up the integrated finite element model of the entire bridge by MIDAS/CIVIL,a large-scale FE software to study the above-mentioned problems.Firstly, the author used a minimum bending energy method combined with stress balance Methodism etc. to determine reasonable finished state of the double-tower and double-decker cable-stayed bridge, and applyed a model based one construction bridge to confirmed the feasibility of the method.Secondly, the author used a forward-iteration method to determine the reasonable construction state of the double-tower and double-decker cable-stayed bridge. By checking into the construction process and operational phase of the bridge, the author confirmed the feasibility of the method. Finally, the author used Deformation Coordination Theory to analyz the interaction between the various components of the double-tower and double-decker cable-stayed bridge and then drawed some regularity conclusions.
