There are a large number of prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridges (i.e.P.C. Cable-stayed Bridges) in present China which have been completed or are being constructed. Long-span P. C. cable-stayed bridges are a type of bridges with great difficulty in design and construction. Construction control is one of key technologies in its design and construction, which guarantees the security of constructing structures and the curve of the stiffening girders so as to meet the requirement for the completed bridge. Therefore it is very necessary and valuable to research the construction control analysis of long-span P. C. cable-stayed bridges. In this thesis, at first, construction control on long-span bridges both domestic and abroad is discussed. Then the theory, method, principle and contributing factor of long-span bridges construction control are introduced. It also makes an elaborate analysis and research on construction control (monitoring and control) in the construction stage. Finally, based on The Bridge of JinHua, the structure engineering software of MIDAS/Civil was used to set up the model of the bridge, which is simulated and analyzed in the construction process. The thesis makes the design bridge states (cable stress and line style) as reasonable finished bridge states, then adopted the backward analysis method to determining reasonable initialcable stress. In the process of construction state, the imitatedmeasure of structure component is discussed and the plane model is analyzed on the construction feature of the long-span bridge. At the same time the result of the simulated analysis is discussed.
