Resource is the essential essences of human relying on for survive and develop on. Since the petroleum crisis of 1970's, the nations that used import petroleum suffered severe impact in economics. Meanwhile, the developed countries realized the alarm of resource depletion. And furthermore, the air pollution and global warm house effect aggravated the devastating of natural resource. Consequently, to save the resource had been widely consented.The rate of increment comparatively lagged behind of GDP, and shortage of resource counted in the radical constraining factors of our national economics. Therefore, to save resource is granted as compulsory prerequisite of economic development.Coal accounted for the major portion among the resource utilization of our nation. Although our nation boasts of abundant coal and water power, however, coal assumption accounts for 3/4 of exploration of natural resource, which supplies more than 75% of energy consumption in heat demand of buildings in China. Nevertheless, those other resource of superior quality is of small portion, that is far different from developed nations.With the huge quantity of newly built real estates and large population, the energy consumption accounts for over 1/4 of national expending. Especially with the amazing increase rate of high energy demanding program, such as electricity, gas, heat and other high quality resource. Considering the egregious wasting of building energy consumption, to research how to save building energy consumption should be attached great importance.To save energy, is to intensify the management of recourse, with introducing technically feasible, economically allowing and socially affordable methods to lower down the waste and loss of energy, thus to facilitate energy consuming more efficiently and appropriately. To save the building energy is to adopt reasonable design and qualified wall building materials, heat resistance roof materials, windows/doors and air-conditioner, therefore the efficiency of electricity utilizing could be improved and the building energy demanding be decreased.Among various fields of saving building energy, the outer wall heat preserving technique holds promising future as freshly emerging conception. To spread this technique could not only improving the life quality of citizens by ameliorating habitation environment, but also promote efficiency of resource exploration.The purpose of this research to explore those key points of saving building energy, i.e.properties of heat preserving materials, details of construction. And via the results of analysis, the heat preserving conception could be of more effective.In this research, we discussed the austere situations of resource in Shandong province as well as our nation. We illustrated the importance of saving energy and successively introduced the key points of building energy saving---the advantages and defects of outer wall heat preserving techniques. And combining the process of building, essential issues of various approaches, the demands of materials properties and construction were thoroughly introduced. Additionally, the program of road of longitude No. eleven was cited as example. Finally, with concluding this essay, we proposed reasonable suggestions and assumed the tendency and prospect of outer wall heat preserving techniques for citizen residence.
