| Planar linkage is widely used in mechanical industries lik light industry, textile, metallurgy, automotive, aerospace and and others. The correctly design and utilize of the planar linkage is closely related to the study of mechanical structural theory. The theory of mechanical structure is mainly about the composed principle, the structure analysis and synthesis, the classification of mechanisms and so on, it is the basis of mechanism analysis, design and innovation. At the same time, the lack of a efficient, reliable approach to sketching of mechanism kinematic chains has been a major obstacle to design and innovation of mechanism for a long time.In this paper, planar mechanism is taken as object for a study. Based on graphic theory, a deep and systematic research was made in the topological characteristic, structure analysis and sketching of mechanism. The main research achievements covered in this paper are summarized as follows:In graph theory, the descriptive method of sketching on the typical type planar kinematic chain diagram is discussed, as well as the conversion relations on the sketching and adjacency matrix of planar kinematic chain is studied. At the same tiom, the adjacency matrix of planar kinematic chain is studied and reconstructed on the basis of the analysis process of mechanism characteristics spectrum been investigated, in order to adapt for computer-assisted structural analysis. These problem domain description can be provided for the software development.By using object-oriented approach, the object model of a planar kinematic chain is established, and the method of transformation plane kinematic chains to the adjacency matrix is found. and then based on depth-first spanning, the approach is studied on obtaining basic loops of kinematic chain from generation tree. These provides the most important ground stone for the topology structure automatic analysis.Using Delphi as the development tool, the prototype system is developed on drawing sketching and topology structure automatic analysis of plane kinematic chains. It can describe a planar kinematic chains, with a lot of graphics interactive editing features, while automatically generate the adjacency matrix, calculate mechanism characteristics spectrum, obtain depth-first spanning tree and basic loops of kinematic chain. In the prototype system, mechanism model can been inputed by graphing kinematic chains and mechanism characteristics spectrum can been automatically calculated. |
