The development of the urban traffic is very important to the city's modernization. Urban modernization usually increased by urban population and vehicle. Modern city traffic congestion is very outstanding, which seriously restrict the city development, how to better solve the relationship between traffic middleman and vehicles become more and more important. Urban traffic signal control system is facing the whole city traffic data monitoring, traffic light control and traffic induction of computer control system, mainly used for urban road traffic control and management, which is very important to improve the urban road traffic capacity.This paper will major research single-crossing the city roads and urban areas of major roads. First, summarized the traffic signal optimization in intelligent control, has been achieved at home and abroad. Then, research the real genetic algorithm and adaptive particle swarm optimization, and on this basis, this paper proposed a new adaptive mutation particle swarm optimization algorithm. And Then will signal optimization model and adaptive mutation particle swann algorithm are combined to the traffic signal timing optimization program, On the regional coordinated control system characteristics and regulation and control methods are analyzed and compared, established a five intersection traffic signal control model, and research a simulation model for this model, Finally completed the urban traffic signal system of intelligent design of hardware.
