The thermoelectric refrigeration is widely used in refrigeration box's design because of its long life, low noise, high reliability, energy saving. Currently thermoelectric refrigeration products' categories are few on the market, and becoming available needs a longer period. If enterprises want to stay ahead in the fierce competition, they need to improve research and development tools, and to innovate the product's structure and function in order to shorten the development cycle, reduce development costs and enhance their market competitiveness.Firstly, according to the principles and applications of thermoelectric refrigeration, cooling power, overall size and other key parameters were calculated, and the E40 thermoelectric refrigeration box's whole structure was designed. Secondly, the mechanical structure and heat-removal system of the E40 thermoelectric refrigeration box were innovated and improved based on the analysis and study of existing products by use of SolidWorks parametric development platform, and collision interference and other issues were detected by the plug-in "SolidWorks Animator". Finally, to reduce prototype experiment, repeated testing and other expenses, the cabinet and the door's virtual assembly and structure simulation were done directly in SolidWorks.The E40 thermoelectric refrigeration box's cabinet shell used integrated structure in this paper, and the door can be opened from left or right freely according to users' needs. At the same time cold was changed to be sent by fans inside the box, and heat outside the box was distributed by wire tube condenser, and so the power consumption was effectively reduced. Using SolidWorks digital design means, it is easy to achieve the product's design changes and design reuse.
