In recent years,with the rapid consumption of energy and the deterioration of the environment,the inexhaustible green energy,solar energy,has been paid more and more attention.Thermoelectric refrigeration is widely used in many fields such as medicine,agriculture,daily life and so on because of its advantages of clean and environmental protection,rapid refrigeration,stable operation and so on.This paper designs and develops an air conditioning system using solar photovoltaic to supply direct current to thermoelectric refrigerators.The system has the characteristics of energy saving and environmental protection,strong reliability and so on.It is especially suitable for the use of air conditioning in isolated small space and remote areas without power grid,which has certain reference significance for promoting the development of solar thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning.Firstly,based on the principle of solar photovoltaic power generation and thermoelectric refrigeration,the maximum cooling capacity,maximum refrigeration coefficient and maximum temperature difference of thermoelectric refrigeration are studied theoretically.The applicable range of different working conditions is obtained,and the working conditions suitable for solar thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning are determined.According to the research results,the solar thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning system is designed according to the maximum cooling capacity.Secondly,the theoretical calculation and preliminary design of solar thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning are carried out.The types and quantities of solar panels and thermoelectric elements are selected by calculating solar energy parameters and thermal loads in space.On this basis,matching solar photovoltaic converter and battery,and the overall design of solar thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning system.According to the number and size of the thermoelectric refrigeration components,the structure design of the thermoelectric refrigeration device module is carried out,including the design of the cold storage plate,the design of the conductive block,the design and selection of the fan,the design of the heat insulation structure,and so on.Then,the preliminary design of solar thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning is studied.According to the preliminary design scheme of thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning,the model experimental platform of solar thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning is built,and the following experiments are carried out:through the current intensity experiment of solar panels,the I-U curve of solar panels is measured.The stable output current of solar panels is obtained.Through the heat dissipation experiment,the temperature values of the cold/hot ends of the thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning under different heat dissipation modes are measured respectively,and the most suitable heat dissipation mode of the thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning is determined.The results of the heat dissipation experiment show that the heat dissipation requirement of air-conditioning refrigeration and heating can be better satisfied by using the heat pipe to strengthen the ventilation and heat dissipation.On the basis of the selected heat dissipation mode,the refrigeration and heating performance experiments of the solar thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioner are respectively carried out,and the temperature change value in the small space is measured to obtain the temperature variation law in the refrigeration/heating space.The experimental results of the refrigeration and heating performance of the thermoelectric refrigeration air-conditioner show that the air-conditioner can meet the refrigeration requirement well,but the heating effect is not ideal.Finally,the simulation research and improved design of thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning are carried out according to the experimental results.By changing the outlet position of the thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning system,the temperature field simulation of the thermoelectric refrigeration air conditioning model test bench is carried out,and the ideal outlet position of the cooling and heating effect is sought.Based on the comparative analysis of the simulation results and the previous experimental results,an improved design of thermoelectric refrigeration and air conditioning was carried out.
