Building Knowledge Base For Distribution Network

With the development of smart grid, the demand for intelligent distribution network is increasing, establishing knowledge base of the distribution network, reasoning it and analyzing the decision, will have important theoretical significance and the actual value for the evaluation and optimization of the grid, and also the improvement of network performance and the economic efficiency of enterprises.There are many objects which have complex relationship involved in distribution network. First, based on the Common Information Model (CIM), this paper studies the information model for distribution network, determining the description of each object in the distribution network, obtains parameters and variables which described the distribution network. Second, the paper studies technical specifications and guidelines related to the distribution network, abstract it to be knowledge, and represent the knowledge with the application of knowledge production rules. Finally, with the application of the knowledge base system theory, the reasoning prototype system is established. Based on parameters or variables which are used to describe the distribution network, the variable table is set up. According to abstract rules, rule table is established. Through using some examples, this paper initially shows the application of Knowledge Base System in the distribution network.Through the object classification by type of equipment in distribution network,Paper established the object description and knowledge, so that it is clear and easy to extract. Based on the actual distribution network planning guidelines and safety assessment procedures, the example is given in this paper, so it has reference value for the practical application. In this paper, the research on distribution system analysis and decision making platform for intelligent building has a positive meaning.
