This thesis is based on the Railway Administration project "Multi-Locomotive Wireless Synchronic Operation System" and focus on the reliability improving of the system with the theory of reliability engineering. The research has some practical significance for multi-locomotive synchronic operation system and other similar equipments in reliability improving.It firstly illustrates the reliability theory foundation knowledge and reliability evaluation methords, introduces Parallel System, Triple Modularly Redundant System, TDS and etc. which are the commonly used methods of improving reliability in engineering application, after analysis and comparison, gives the appropriate solution to multi-locomotive synchronic operation system. The scheme is designed to gather digital signals and making a two to three channels voting output, and making a two to three voting switches for analog signals. According to the theory of reliability analysis, the Mean Time Before Failure(MTBF) of this kind of system is less than single-mode system, but in its mission period it has a very high reliability. This kind of character meets the requirement of multi-locomotive synchronic operation system.For the three choose two redundancy scheme, gives a hardware realization. It adopts the MCU as the main controller, designed a monitoring module to deal with tiny probability of controller fault, ensure that the system was high security. Among them, if the system can tell exactly the wrong channel it will alarm and display the error channel and signal ID, else the system will lock itselft and waiting unlock by manual operation. A proper unlock opertation will make the system back into the normal working cycle. Based on uVersion3 development platform, programming to achieve control and fault recognition function mentioned above.To verifying the correctness and effectiveness of the designing, constructed and made a temporary test platform, and based on it, the voting device software debugging, functional verification have been accomplished. Experimental results have confirmed the functions of the device meet the design requirements and it has a certain value for the reliability improving of multi-locomotive synchronic operation system.
