Sichuan is a very mountainous province,most parts of it are covered by high and low mountain ranges. Mountains in the west and north parts are especially high. And the geologic conditions there are very complex. Geological disasters, such as slope,collapse, happen frequently in these areas. After many years of theory exploration and practice research, engineers have achieved a lot in prevention means of these geological disasters. In thousands of treatment of slopes, provention measures encluding retaining wall,anti-sliding pile,anchor bolt and anchor cable have been used basing on different specific situations.after many yeras of experiences,engineers have more choices in treadment of slopes. How to make the best choice is the thing that puzzles them.in order to improve the treadment level of slope, it is necessary to collects examples in sichuan province,finds some typical projects,and analysis the effects of their treadment means.The main content of this paper is to sum up the experience of complex slope treadments in sichuan province,and analysis the suitability of some typical treadment means.This research is based on the engineerings and researchs yet have been done, with the purpose of improve the treadment level of slope in sichuan province.
