| Parking is an indivisible part in the urban transport. Management for parking is also an important part for the traffic policemen. For the rapid economic development of Jinan, the number of motor vehicles rises more than 15% each year. The rate between motor vehicle quantity and parking space quantity is 15.4:1, which is higher than the country average rate 4.84:1. Motor vehicles detour for searching parking space, or occupy the road for parking. All of this waste so much time and space. From here we see that parking is undeniably important for the urban transport. Dealing with parking problems can solve traffic jam, reduce traffic accident, and improve the transportation.Through the research of parking management theory and analysis of the parking condition in Jinan, this thesis summarized the reason for parking problems, and suggested the measures for traffic policemen and government management.The thesis consists of six sections.Section 1 Summarize the research purpose and significance of parking problem. Introduce the research actuality at home and abroad, the research methods in this thesis and the main research content.Section 2 Introduce the fundamental theory and system actuality of parking management. Suggest that parking management in the road is the main part for research.Section 3 Analyze the motor vehicle quantity and present parking resources. Suggest the hazards caused by parking problems.Section 4 Introduce the influence factor for parking behavior and parking demand. Summarize the main reason for parking problems, giving an example of Jinan.Section 5 Analysis the management experience in developed country or districts. Conclude the scientific and practical inspirations.Section 6 According to actuality in Jinan, suggest corresponding measures for traffic policemen and government management. |
