With the accelerating development of market economy, the increasing awareness of energy reservation and environmental protection, the consumers make greater demand on the operation of power system, and put more emphasis on the economy of power gridoperation. It has long been the objective of the power system as to how to realize the scientific management, to apply the resources scientifically and meanwhile ensure the safe and reliable power supply and make it optimized, in order to reduce the loss of power grid, increase the quality of power supply and eventually increase the enterprise performance and social benefits and one crucial premise to realize the objective is to make a reasonable planning for inactive supply of power grid.The lack of reactive power is the main reason for low voltage qualification rate; irrational inactive planning will lead to the low quality of electric energy, and increase of grid loss and deccline of enterprise economic benefits, and have impact on the safe and economic operation of power system. Therefore, it is of great significance to plan, design, construct and arrange the reactive power supply for reactive compensation device, develop a visual software for reactive power optimization targeted on large consumers (large industrial enterprises), provide policy support for actual power supply optimizion, to ensure stable voltage, lower the grid loss, and constantly raise the level of safe and economic operation of the power grid.The thesis makes a research on n targeted on the features of large industrial consumers and their distribution networks. The advantage and disafvantege of traditional voltage reactive power control strategy (Nine-field Controlling, Five-field Controlling) have been demonstrated. The reactive power control strategy of high-voltage distribution network for large consmers is realized based on the minimum reactive power control policy (minimum transformer loss), by means of visual software. A set of convenient, perceivable, reliable and practical visual software for reactive power optimization of large consumers' high voltage distribution network has been developed, by means of Microsoft's Windows processing system, with programming language VC++ as the visual integration context, the office software Excel which is equipped with powerful functions, the Access database management system based on Windows and Consequently, the application case has proved the validity of the optimization software.
