Heating utilities of our country have been developed rapidly, but the energy consumption of production and transport are still much. So to design and optimize the central heating system by advanced technology is an important way to receive a reasonable system designation and a reliable running situation. And it is of great significance to do it.Many scholars have carried on extensive and deep reseach. They have proposed many kinds of optimization methods, but there is certain limitation on practical application. This paper made every effort to find a integral and general method to solve this problem.This paper has proposed the layout model and the piple network model of central heating system, and has solved the fomer by an appropriate method, and it is two-step classification method. Also in this paper, the piple network was sovled by (SUMT) method. And this paper has plaited the software by MATLAB. According to the principle of optimality, the exergy loss cost for thermal pipeline per unit length and the investment apportioned cost per year, the formula for economic thermal insulation thickness of exergy loss is induced in this paper. According to the given parameters, three pipelines are practical calculated, and the results are analyzed and discussed. Economic insulation thickness design of exergy loss should be the criterion when the temperature of transportation medium in pipeline is high. Economic insulation thickness design of energy losing should be the criterion when the temperature is low. If the temperature is in the middle condition, either of them can be used. This paper proposed an integral theory of the optimization of central heating system.We applied the all theory on the optimization of Liao He Oilfield, and received a good result.
