Cold recycling technology has been widely used in major maintenance projects in our country.Many roads which have been reconstructed with cold recycling technology have reached or neared their life spans. "How to deal with these pavements" has become an urgent problem.Based on the results of research from home and abroad, the thesis studies the secondary recycling technology stabilized by cement.Material properties after being long-term used were analyzed. CBR and Crushed value were recommended to be the indicators to determine whether the metural was suitable for secondary recycling.The microstructure characteristics of secondary recycling road materials stabilized by cement were observed by SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope),in order to analyze the microstructures,strength formation mechanism and influence factors.We believe that the freedom asphalt particles,mortar-asphalt film interface and old aggregate-mortar interface made adverse impacts for the strength and stability.The performances of secondary recycling mixture were researched in laboratory, and then they were compared with the initial cold recycling mixture.The results showed that the secondary recycling mixture had a good pavement performance, and some performances were even better than initial cold recycling mixture.Based on the results of the survey data on scene and laboratory research, the stress characteristics of two typical secondary recycling asphalt pavement were analyzed. Adaptability of secondary recycling materials using in asphalt pavement structures was explained in two aspects:material performance and structure performance.Meanwhile, the secondary recycling construction and quality control technology have been researched.The quality control standards and technical points were verified in test road. The secondary recycling mixture is applied to base or sub base, and this is proven to meet the pavement performance. Secondary recycling technology has tremendous economic and social-environmental benefits.
