Based on optimized preparation of the two monoterpene glucosides in Paeonia lactiflora Pall(albiflorin and paeoniflorin), multiple derivatives were prepared by further chemical production and isolation with the potential of screening out the novel and higher active compounds in the future, In the primary experiment, both albiflorin and paeoniflorin were transformed by alkaline hydrolysis and acid hydrolysis. Three objective compounds were separated as compound I, compound II, and compound III with various techniques of silica gel and preparative HPLC, etc. They were identified to be Desbenzoyl albiflorin, Desbenzoyl paeoniflorin and Desbenzoyl albiflorinin respectively by the spectral analysis such as UV, IR, MS, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR.The processing for compound I, compound II, and compound III was set out by analysis of the condition for alkaline hydrolysis and acid hydrolysis such as gel silica collumn extract and desalination. Thus, highly pure productions of these compounds were obtained. Moreover, an analytical method was proposed to determine compound I, compound II, and compoundIII.In microtransformation from the eight Fungi, Aspergillus niger 3.795 was screened to transform compound I and compound II by HPLC analyse. It was indicated that the enzyme of Aspergillus niger 3.795 which can catalyzes compound I and compound II is extracellular enzyme.
