In the process of crude oil production, usually also can produce a lot of natural gas andwater. So it need to use all sorts of methods to separate the natural gas and water from crudeoil. At present, many oil field of our country has allready gone into the high water-cut stage.Production stream moisture content increased year by year, bring a series of problems to oilfield production. At the same time, the processing of the production water has cost manymanpower and material resources. Therefore, in this situation, technology of undergroundwater-oil separation and injection-production in same well is get more and more wellattention. The development of new type the oil-water separator become the key of theimprovement of injection-production in same well technology.The oil-water mixture of the gather and flow pattern oil-water separator which studies inthis paper is developed base on the many cup flow separator.It is a new type of gravityoil-water separator. The main structure of this type separator all made by lipophilic materials.It separate water and oil main rely on gravity separation principle and droplet together andmechanism. Separator settlement cup bottom is made into corrugated shape,and it's top isjagged. Installed the boards in the cup inside. This special separator structure have effectiveincreased oil droplets collision coalescence probability,and reducing the oil-water mixturesettling time in the separator at while.It have improve the oil-water seperation efficiency. Atreasonable position in settlement cup bottom have drilled some holes sand discharge.We callthese holes sand folwing hole. Through this method can effectively solve sinking sandproblem along the separation process of oil and water in the separator. Realize the water-oilseparation and row of sand synchronization is such a significant advantage of this typeseparator.This subject is used the method of theoretical analysis combining with indoor experiment.We used fluid mechanics principle analysised the flow form of oil-water mixture in theseparator and the stress distribution of oil drops in the fluid flow.Have got the oil dropletsrising formula in the separator and the velocity formula of oil drops after it got together. Wehave completed the oil-water separator experiment and folw of sand and water-oil separationsynchronous experiment. By analysis the results of the experiments. We have summarizedof all kinds affection the physical parameters infuent on the water-oil separation. Conductedthe field experiment at first oil production factory Daqing oilfield. The experiment resultsconfirmed that the oil-water mixture of the gather and flow pattern oil-water separator caneffectively reduce the production stream moisture content.It can realize injection andproduction in same well as well as saving energy and reducing consumption.
