As a subject of Wucaiwan coal sample, it was investigated that the coal samplewas treated using solvent and swelling solvent of wash oil at conditions of natural andmicrowave, respectively, as well as effect of them direct liquefaction properties.Firstly, as solvent of wash oil, at initial hydrogen pressure of6.0MPa, soakingtime of60min, reaction temperature of440℃, and solvent to coal mass ratio ofS:C=1.75conditions, effects of the six catalysts such as (NH4)6Mo7O24,Fe2O3and soon, on Wucaiwan coal direct liquefaction performance were investigated. Resultsshow that: the best catalyst were (NH4)6Mo7O24, the second were Fe2O3.Consideringthe economy, Fe2O3were better. at T=50℃, τ=8h, S/C=3:1, washoil:NMP:CS2=1:1:1conditions, swelling ration were up to1.61.The appropriatecondition were initial hydrogen of8.0MPa, soaking time of60min, reactiontemperature of440℃, and solvent to coal mass ratio of S:C=1.75.Oil yield were up to59.24%, conversion81.5%, final hydrogen pressure16.3MPa.Secondly, as solvent and swelling solvent of wash oil, effects of nature swellingconditions as swelling solvent ration, ratio of mass for solvent to coal wereinvestigated by orthogonal table. Effect of nature swollen coal sample directliquefaction properties conditions as reaction temperature, ratio of mass for solvent tocoal and reaction time were investigated by orthogonal table, too. Results show that:at T=50℃,τ=8h, S/C=3:1,wash oil:NMP:CS2=1:1:1conditions, swelling rationwere up to1.61. The appropriate condition were initial hydrogen of6.0MPa, soakingtime of60min, reaction temperature of440℃, and solvent to coal mass ratio ofS:C=2. Oil yield were up to48.56%, conversion76.24%. It's liquefaction propertiessimilar to raw coal. Wash oil is not the appropriate swelling solvent.Finally, as solvent and swelling solvent of wash oil, effects of microwaveswelling conditions as ratio of mass for solvent to coal, microwave power andmicrowave time were investigated by orthogonal table. Effect of microwave e swollencoal sample direct liquefaction properties conditions as reaction temperature, ratio of mass for solvent to coal and initial hydrogen pressure were investigated by orthogonaltable, too. Results show that: at microwave power P=600W, microwave time τ=10minand wash oil percentage content of35%conditions, oil yield increase about5pointsof percent, conversion were basically not change, final hydrogen pressure reduced0.5MPa. The appropriate condition were initial hydrogen of8.0MPa, soaking time of60min, reaction temperature of445℃, and solvent to coal mass ratio of S:C=1.25.Oil yield were up to56.49%, conversion74.16%. It's liquefaction properties similarto raw coal. Wash oil is not the appropriate swelling solvent.
