Environmental problem is an eye-catching issue in today's world. As an important branch of the research on this issue, environmental justice is getting more and more attention. Fair question belongs to ethics category. However, when it occurs to our academic circle, we care more about the income distribution gap between people, rather than the inequality use of ecological environment resources. As an organic part of the social justice, environmental injustice will not only increase social injustice, but also affect the victim's basic living conditions, furthermore affecting social stability.The fairness of the allocation of environmental resources has become a urgent realistic problem to be faced to our country. When researching, the less developed areas in China, especially many places in the west should be paid more attention because of their naturally severe environment and low level of economic development. Therefore, it is particularly urgent and important to research on injustice on environment problems of China's less developed areas and make reasonable and effective measures in the contemporary.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, which mainly introduces the research background and the relevant domestic and foreign research. The second part elaborates the meaning and connotation of fair, based on which analyzing the concept, the basic principle and the content of environmental justice. The third part analyzes the existing environmental injustice problems in the less developed areas dividing it into the one within the generation and the one without. The fourth part mainly analyzes the environment injustice outside the less developed areas and the cause. The fifth part focuses on the realistic ways to reduce environmental injustice in less developed areas and the importance of it.
