A Research On The Process Related To Public Participation In Ecological Urban Planning

Along with the rapid development of the economy, the urban ecological system is over burdened, and we have to face all kinds of the environmental problem now. And urban planning is an effective measure to scientifically and properly adjust the entire urban ecological system and urban planning is a new urban planning, based on the city and applies the related ecological principle to the process of the urban planning in order to build the suitable and environmental friendly ecological city.The public participation is beneficial to formulate the scientific, democratic, efficient ecological urban planning, push forward the ecological urban planning carrying out smoothly, as well as revising and improving the ecological urban planning. On the process of ecological urban planning, applying the public participation system is one of the important ways of preventing improper planning."Urban and Rural Planning Law" is the national legal norm related to formation and practice of the urban planning, and it should be actively responses to the urban environmental problem."Urban and Rural Law" and other related legal norm have established the basic figure of the public participation process in urban ecological planning. In China from central to local all have the related rules of public participation in ecological urban planning, this paper has cleared up the situation of the public participation rule in the process of urban planning and thinks the public has already got the right of participating the ecological urban planning. But the public participation operability and engagement still need to be improve, it exists the defect of little participation process, the small participation scale, the little participation body and the less participation efficacy.Though the investigation of public participation process of the overboard urban planning together with China's legal norm and current situation. This paper would be sacrificed to improve the public participation process individually though extending the public participation time, increasing the public participation process, expanding the public participation project and body, and enhancing the public participation efficacy.
