| Clothing CAD's stencil system is the most characteristic modules, also the highest utilization ratio modules in garment enterprises, having the highest value. At the present time, the usage ratio of the French Lectra and NAC2000 stands first on the list among the Chinese clothes companies. French Lectra clothing CAD is the most representative CAD system in America and Europe, its plate making system is very mature, also worthy to make a further study. Though, NAC2000 is home-made system, its core technology adopting from Japan. From the functional, stability, maturity and compatibility, it all reflects the advanced level of Japanese fashion CAD systems. This thesis makes a comparative study on the representative clothing CAD's stencil system, taking the process of clothing CAD's stencil system as beginning, making a comparative analysis on seven contents: clothing CAD's stencil setting ,basic structure line, line trim and measurement, produce of cutting fabrics, fabrics development, sewing share cast and plate-making application. To summarize advantages and disadvantages of plate making of these two clothing CAD systems, as the following:1.Lectra uses the method of combination of dots and lines; it can not only generate line, also produces dot, which is simple and straight. NAC2000 can only generate line instead of dot independently; it can only catch the virtual position from the distance between the points of inside and outside of segment or center by entering a numeral, which is an abstract way.2.Lectra supports input of fraction, but NAC2000 is not, needing to be translated into the a decimal fraction when inputting of fraction.3.Lectra's drawing curve has lines of high quality; it is incomparable for other costume CAD systems. NAC2000's roundness and smooth is not good enough, that is the great drawback of it.4.Lectra's measuring tool can measure the distance between any two points. But for NAC2000, only a whole line length and can not measure the distance between any points directly.5.Lectra's turning dart tool can transfer prototype's dart to any places in a flash, the amount of dart can transfer to any point or length, especially suitable for a prototype plate making.NAC2000's turning dart process is more complicated, first it needs to cut the turning dart 's line, second revolve the area needing to transfer finally.6.Lectra's opening dart function can easily achieve a series work of making dart,opening dart,dart roundness,opening & shut dart, especially got a high intelligent in dart joint's roundness. NAC2000 is incomparable at this point, NAC2000 can only draw the dart's lines through the method of combination of points and lines, it needs the help of curved line tool if come up against curved line dart when drawing.7.Lectra's red prismatic end point generates by the two ends between the line is larger, it will influence the visual effect if the distance between the line is too close, wrong place is difficult to find out. NAC2000's line is clear and intuitive, wrong place is obvious and striking, convenient for searching.This article's aim is to enrich cloth CAD teaching content, develop concepts, broaden vision, to make student study the operating way on the different clothing CAD system, to cultivate practical talents who is more adaptable to the practice of clothing company CAD .In addition, it can also offer reference and consult to the researcher of clothing CAD teaching. |
