Flubendiamine is a new type of insecticides jointly developed by companies in Japan and Germany, with completely different mechanism of action from conventional pesticides.Based on the consulting of relevant literatures, there is an overview of the world and China's recent development of pesticides in recent years, especially anthranilic diamides insecticide.It is summarized the the function mechanism,toxicity and application activity for flubendiamine,one of important anthranilic diamides insecticide.The reported preparation about flubendiamine and its intermediates were also introduced in detail.3-Iodophthalic acid is a significant intermediate for synthesis of flubendiamide. 3-Iodophthalic acid was prepared from 3-nitrophthalic acid through reduction and diazotization in 89.5% yield (purity≧ 98.0%). The entire route is reacted by one-pot. The intermediate was not isolated and purified, so greatly reducing the operational processes and raw materials.It is appropriate for industrial production. In the synthesis of ADMA , by using the FeO(OH)/C and hydrazine hydrate, it is instead of using expensive catalysts Pd/C, applied to solve the problem of catalyst recycling ,reducing the cost of the reaction.The total yield reached to 98%.In the synthesis of IPA, by examining conditions of the reaction temperature, the proportion of raw materials,catalytic amount,recovery of catalytic and time, the reactions is improved the yield and reduced the by-products with one-pot.There were simple process and reducing the cost.In the process development of flubendiamine was seudied. A large number of experimental data obtained by the relevant preferential terms.In the synthesis of intermediates NIB, using IPAD as raw material, NIPA, NIN, and NIB was directly applied to the next step reaction for reducing the steps and costs . MFA is an expensive raw materials.IPAD was first reacted withVI, then reacting with the MFA.It is not only to improve the selectivity of the reaction, but also improve the reaction yield and content. In Synthesis of flubendiamine , by selecting the appropriate oxidant and catalyst, improved treatment methods, the synthetic process is simple reducing cost.During the study we target compounds as well as important intermediates in the chemical structure of NMR and MS, after confirmation.
