With increasing demand for towels at home and abroad,the increasing requirments for species diversity of styles of towels,the quality requirments for towels are also greatly increased.Domestic towel manufacturers in recent years increase the technological inputs strongly, put in a large number of money to update towel production equipments.Towel rapier loom as a modern towel weaving equipment has become the major equipment instead of the old weaving equitment in towel industry. The new improved towel weaving equipment is to use advanced electronic technology to replace the function of mechanical drive.This paper is studying the Control Systerm Design of Towel Rapier Loom, summarized in the following areas:(1)This paper summarized the research and development trends of the towel weaving technology at home and abroad,analyzed the main difficulties and key tachnologies of the towel rapier loom control system design ,explained the significance of this study.(2)This paper studied the logic relationship of each signal and action of the towel loom ,also the relationship between the main control system and the following sub-control system.(3)This paper studied the Weft Detection and Woof System.The signal detection,processing of the Weft Detection System is analyzed.Finally designed how to set the election process, how to process the weft selection signal and how to drive the woof action,replaced the old mechanical weft and mechanical testing weft breakage.It greatly improved the Sensitivity and reliability of the reaction .(4)Fluff System is studied, it replaces the mechanical Fluff System,makes the raising height change freely in a fabric ,and also be able to change for 3, 4,7 weft in latitude.(5)This paper studied the Take up of the delivery system, delivery system by the take-up is the main body to control the surface tension and the fabric density,which is a key component of weaving efficiency.This system uses the servo system which used in the delivery system by the take-upandreplaces the mechanical take-off system, it has been greatly improved the convenience of transforming latitude and the constant tension control on the fabric. (6)This paper used PLC to centralized control,applied the servo control technology, with touch-screen as an interface input, the whole system is integrated of using the electronic technology.It is a development trend of new loom, with the development of electronic technology, you can continue to use the cost-effective appropriate technology among the new loom.
