Chapter 1:This part introduced the characteristics, applications, preparations and surface modifications of magnetic nanoparticles(MNP). The properties and inclusion complexation of the cyclodextrins are depicted in brief. Lastly, the research progresses of cyclodextrin/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite are reviewed in detail.Chapter 2:β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite was fabricated by layer by layer method. First, Fe3O4 MNP was prepared by coprecipitating and the best preparation conditions were evaluated. Then, MNP modified with gum Arabic (GAMNP) possess the active functional groups, better stability and biocompatibility. Finally, the (3-CD modified with citrate conjugated to GAMNP,β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite was obtained. XRD, TEM, DLS, FTIR, TGA were used to verify the phase purity, size, hydrodynamic diameter distribution, the amount ofβ-CD grafted on the MNP (83.1mg/g) and the number ofβ-CD molecules immobilized on each MNP(138).Chapter 3:The HP-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite and SBE-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite were synthesized in this part. Firstly, SBE-β-CD was prepared through the nucleophilic reaction betweenβ-CD and 1,4-Butane sultone, characterized by FTIR and 1H NMR (DS=2.4). Then SBE-β-CD and HP-β-CD were modified by citrate, and reacted with magnetic nanoparticle through the condensation reaction. The HP-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite and SBE-P-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite were obtained and characterized by DLS, FTIR, and TGA. The mean hydrodynamic diameter of CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite is close to that of MNP but smaller than that of GAMNP from DLS. The CDs grafting was confirmed by FTIR. The amount of HP-β-CD and SBE-β-CD grafted on the MNP was 54.8mg/g,71.8mg/g, the number of HP-β-CD and SBE-P-CD molecules immobilized on each MNP was 62,93, respectively.Chapter 4:The inclusion complexation between CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite was investigated. The loading capacities of CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite for IBU were determined through UV and the maximum loading capacity ofβ-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite, HP-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite, SBE-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite is 7.39mg/g,3.12mg/g,10.25mg/g, respectively. According to the phase solubility diagrams, the solubility of IBU was enhanced owning to the complexation by CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite, and the SBE-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite obviously affected the solubility enhancement. The inclusion withβ-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite, HP-P-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite and SBE-β-CD/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composite leads the solubility enhancement of IBU to 8.31,3.64 and 38.88 times, respectively.
