For the difficulties of precise positioning in the electric locomotive underground coal mine, the precise positioning of the electric locomotive underground coal mine has been researched deeply based on the inertial guidance in aerospace in this paper .Which makes real-time monitoring and display the state of electric locomotive possible. And calculate the location information and optimal estimation, to improve positioning accuracy. The system contains gyroscope and accelerometer, according to the gesture matrix and location matrix for the guidance of the locomotive. Take the 16-bit-Freescale chip as the MCU. The error compensation by means of the algorithm and the fix-point. At last, the experiment results are given, which have shown that the effects are good.
