| Cephalosporin intermediate is the important factor of influencing the effluent COD to meet the discharge standard which is one of the most representative characteristic pollutants in the cephalosporin pharmaceutical wastewater. So it is very necessary to treat the cephalosporin intermediate wastewater effectively. We used the novel multi-loop loop membrane bioreactor (NMBR) to treat the cephalosporin intermediate wastewater and researched the COD removal rate, the change of sludge characteristics and the factors affecting sludge characteristics under different COD loading rate conditions.Through the operating characteristics of the NMBR, we determined the best HRT was 14h.When the adding water of COD was 2218 mg/L in average, the average removal rate of COD was 94.5%. When the drained water of COD was 118 mg/L in average, the sludge characteristics of MLSS, MLVSS, SV, SVL VSS/SS, ratio substrate degradation rate, oxygen uptake rate and ehydrogenase activity were 10984mg/L,7215mg/L,46%,42.0mL/g,0.66,0.34kgCOD/(kgMLSS·d),4.51 mgO2/(gSS·h),9.7μgTF/(mgMLSS·h) respectively. The results showed that the NMBR had good ability to remove the COD and maintain the good performance of activated sludge.Through the MCMP(Multifunctional Compound Micro-organisms Preparation) treatment optimization test, the optimal condition was determined which were wastewater pH value 6.5, temperature 25℃and inoculation amount 7mL(7%) and the optimal ratio of MCMP was 5/105. The removal rate of COD was 94.5% and the drained water of COD was 118 mg/L in average by MCMP-NMBR. When the MCMP ratio was 5/105, the sludge concentration and the sedimentation performance were better. When the MCMP ratio was 10/105,the sludge activity was best. The optimal ratio of MCMP was 5/105 considering the cost of MCMP.Through researching the effects of MCMP on the sludge properties of the mixture by NMBR, the results showed that MCMP improved the nature of the sludge mixture and it is conducive to improving the pollution state of membrane. With the increasing of EPS content in Sludge mixture,protein content in EPS,relative hydrophobicity of the mixture,potential absolute value of Zeta, the Sludge flocculation performance improved which made the surface of membranes to be the filter cake layer of the loosely structured and easy-to-be water washed. The contents of SMP in supernatant fluid,polysaccharide in EPS and the viscosity of the mixture which could cause the sorptive membrane fouling decreased. Comparing the over pressure of membrane and resistance value in NMBR, MCMP could reduce the cleaning number of membrane and extend the limited cleaning time of membrane under the same processing flow and COD. With adding MCMP, the recoverability of membrane flux (SF/SFo) were respectively 49.03%,53.00%,91.20% after the wash by water,alkali and sodium hypochlorite. So the recoverability of membrane flux with adding MCMP was superior to that without. |
