With the application of tertiary oil production technology in China, the crude oil recovery was enhanced greatly. And the requirement for crude oil processing is increased with the increasing of crude oil production. At present, the traditional electric dehydrator has appeared to be inadequate to process the crude oil produced with tertiary oil production technology, which mainly focus on the high control current, the lower instability of high voltage electric field, and the often collapse of electric field for dehydration. To solve the above problems, this thesis has designed a new type of crude oil dehydration power supply equipment with high frequency pulse, and the research work is carried out as follow:Firstly, the recent development of crude oil dehydration technology and dehydration methods is summarized briefly. Based on the introduction of basic principle of crude oil electric dehydration, the rectangular wave AC pulse dehydration theory is given. And the wave form comparison is made between the rectangular wave AC pulse and the traditional AC or DC dehydration.Secondly, the overall design idea and functions of the power supply equipment were described, the three-phase full-bridge controlled rectifier and IGBT full-bridge inverter scheme was taken, the main circuit of the crude oil dehydration power supply equipment was designed.The design procedure of high-frequency pulse transformer was given and the main circuit was simulated by using Pspice, simulation results met the design requirements.Thirdly, the control & protection and display systems of the power supply equipment were designed including the voltage regulating unit and inverter unit, the above system can implement the functions of free adjustment of output voltage and pulse frequency, besides, it has the functions of double over-voltage, over-current and constant current protection. Finally, the debugging work for each modular and entire equipment was carried out. After the design requirements for the equiipment were met, the experiment was carried out in daqing oil prodution field, and the effectiveness of oil dehydration was analyzed.The experiments proved that the equipment designed in this thesis had advantages of high efficiency, good effect, high stablilty and energy saving. The developped equipment satisfies the design requirements, and it is suitable for crude oil dehydration.
