It is well known that both the natural endowment and the special process to industrialization determine China leads the world in CO2 emission, which raises a lot of criticism about the national CO2 emissions to the economic growth of China. The natural endowment of China is "rich in coal, lack of oil and poor in gas", and the special process is that China is in the heavy industry stage of the industrialization. According to the "Copenhagen" and "Cancun" Forum, China will face a pressure in greater responsibility and obligations in decreasing greenhouse gas emissions and the resulting range of environmental issues. On the other hand, China as a manufacturing power and international trading nation, the products not only serve their own, but also in service around the world. The fact that the role as the "world factory" in the international division of labor is one of the objective reasons of CO2 emissions rising in China, China's "carbon emissions" problems should also be discussed under the framework of the world economy.Firstly, This paper summarizes the research situation on this issue in domestic and the international and put forward the research ideas and contents, and highlights the relevant research methods of this paper; Secondly, CO2 Emission intensity is estimated using input-output analysis method from the perspective of product life cycle and calculate CO2 emissions embodied in the exports of sectors; Then, the relationship between CO2 emissions and exports is empirical analysised using quantitative analysis method; Then, the total CO2 emissions embodied in the import and export products were calculated using the carbon emission intensity; Finally, relevant policy recommendations are made according to preliminary results. The results show that:firstly, the growth of export trade played a significant role in promoting the fact that our country's CO2 emissions is on the world's first reality; Secondly, the high energy consuming sectors (energy sector) are the main sectors in the cause of the increase in CO2 emissions and further Improving energy efficiency, especially the most urgent problems is enhancing the efficiency of coal using; thirdly, it is without delay to adopt a more stringent policy to force energy-intensive sectors to upgrade or transfer abroad; Finally, structural and policy adjustments of the export trade can reduce our CO2 emissions to some extent. This paper estimates the CO2 emissions embodied in the export, and clear the distribution of China's CO2 emissions embodied in exports, which has practical significance in upgrading China's foreign trade, and the results can be used as reference in our participation in global negotiations on greenhouse gas emissions.
