| This subject is designed to make a new type composite material system, so that it has good heat and mechanical properties and good technology, and is used for thermal protection systems in aerospace engineering. The kind of thermal insulation composed system, which is composed of silicate fiber or silicate fiber sleeve and alumino- sili-cate, can achieve curing below 200℃, to reduce the damage of sintering tempera- ture on the fiber. The paper has two aspects on the study of composite system, one aspect is fun-damental research, which mainly study the basis material properties of the component materials and preparation and thermodynamic properties of the composites; the other aspect is application research, which make a discussion on the thermal insulation me-chanism of the kind of composite materials, and process the simulation of heat trans-fer of the new composite, then analysis the changes of temperature and stress. The study have shown that the composites which is prepared by spiral winding is preferable to the composites which are prepared by circular winding on the thermal and mechanical properties, the composites which are prepared by spiral winding can maintain good mechanical properties, smaller thermal deformation and weight loss at high temperature; when using silicate fiber sleeve for the composites by spiral winding , the composites have less density , thermal deformation and weight loss at high temperature, but they are worse than the composites which are prepared by spiral using silicate fiber on tensile strength and bending strength; the kind of insulation composite is the gas-solid coupling thermal insulation composite, the new thermal insulation structures which use the two silicate fiber forms have excellent insulation, and the internal stresses are within the scopes of allowable stresses. And by calculat-ing the value ofÏκof silicate fiber sleeve composites and silicate fiber, it can be concluded that the the silicate fiber sleeve composites have higher the thermal insula-tion efficiency of unit mass. |
