| In this paper, a kind of polymer asphalt was prepared by high shear emulsifying machine. "Panjin A-100" asphalt was taken as original asphalt. Waste polyethylene (PE) films recycling materials and styrenebutadiene rubber composites were prepared as asphalt compound modifier.The experimental results indicate that softening point of matrix asphalt was increased after using recycled polyethylene as asphalt modifier dramatically. The softening point increased with addivity of the recycled PE we used. It shows that recycled PE can greatly improve the modeling characteristics and the high-temperature performance of the asphalt. The high temperature anti-rutting ability was increased and The 5℃delay degrees declined slightly which characterizing low temperature performance of asphalt.The modified asphalt phase stability of the styrene butadiene rubber was improved by adding stabilizers and plasticizer. SBR can be more easily mixed into asphalt after plasticizer was used. The low-temperature toughening functions was improved greatly. When the addition is 0.2% the weight of base asphalt, the 2℃delay degree of modified asphalt was still high. When the stabilizers is the weight of base asphalt's 0.1%-0.2%,the phase of styrene butadiene rubber asphalt won't be separated after 48h at the range temperature of 160±2℃.When WPE/SBR composite asphalt modification agent additive quantity is 6%-7% the weight of base asphalt, it can greatly improve the performance of the way-use asphalt. The needling point exceeds more than 1.5 and sticky elastic domain range increases by 21℃..It shows that temperature sensitivity of the modified asphalt is lower than that of the basic asphalt, expanding applicable climate area. |
