The reservoir types of Xinqu Oilfield are of various kinds: litho-structure, tectonic-litho trap and so on, reservoirs change quickly in lateral and vertical space- major reservoirs distribute unsteadily in plane, oil formations are single vertically and have the following features: lower formation pressure, lower strata temperature, high paraffin content and lower single well productivity. The problems occurred in development stand out gradually as development deepen progressively. Channel sand bodies changing soon in lateral space, the distribution of oil and water complicated, crude oil double-affected by wax content and colloid, conventional perforating commissioning being no productivity or lower productivity and it decreasing soon, all kinds of thermal recovery test for development effect unmarked and so on, have become a key factor of restricting the area effective development. Resource potential evaluation has been launched on the basis of describing geologic unit subdivision and making reservoir geology fine research in this article. The ranges of conforming to water controlled development are divided by comprehensive study of fluid quality and the temperature and pressure system, and in view of geologic feature of newly developed area complex rift system, geologic units are subdivided to make a comprehensive analysis of structure-, reservoir-, formation testing- and production test-data, and to make clear O&G master control factors of units and to define the distribution rule of oil and water. And according to oil pool and its distribution characteristic, geologic units are reasonably divided to clarify O&G master control factors of units, oil layer growth and the condition of reserves and richness and then to implement productivity construction scale. In the mean time the analysis of affecting oil well productivity factors are made to establish the relationship of oil well productivity and oil pool characteristic parameters, the effect of overall development for Block Xin-19 is better, in view of that, but different problems are exposed to diverse well-blocks, oil pools are studied thoroughly to finely portray oil pool features, reservoir sand bodies unfolding distribution and the variation of lithology, physicality, oil-bearing property of reservoir. The temperature and pressure variation of reservoir and production performance rule are traced analytically to timely grasp flood-response facts. Output and aquifer variation rule are studied and influence factors are analyzed to make an assessment for overall development result, to expound and prove well network adaptability, to optimize petroleum reservoir engineering plan, to guide the whole Xinqu oil field effective development producing and sieve blocks for benefit deliverability.
