Water content of crude oil is an important testing parameter in petroleum industry. The accurate test of water content of crude oil is great significance to scheme making oil exploitation and develop life prediction of oil wells. At present, Because of the process and the technical level in China are difficult to satisfy the actual acquirements of water content testing of high temperature and high water cut crude. So it is necessary to develop a kind of on-line water content testing device suitable for high temperature and high water cut crude. On the basis of read the related domestic and overseas literatures and comparison with different water content testing technology of crude oil, this experiment tests water content of oil-water mixture by microwave transmission. This experiment takes industrial white oil as medium to replace crude oil. Based on microwave transmission principle and the method of using microwave to measure the water content single value of oil-water mixture in high temperature, the indoor microwave measurement device for water content was established. It can be used at the temperature of 20℃to 200℃and the pressure of OMpa to 2.5MPa. By the dynamic and static experiments of the water content microwave testing of oil-water mixture, the feasibility of the device was verified. In this paper, the effect of temperature on water content microwave measurement of crude oil is further analyzed and the error and uncertainty assessment measurement results are analyzed. The results show that:(1) compared with other influence parameters, the effect of temperature and gas fraction on water content single value of oil-water mixture by microwave measurement was great and erratic. The general trend was the water content single value nonlinearly increased with the rising of the temperature until the temperature was 60℃, and then the single value nonlinearly decreased with the rising of the temperature. The largest error was 7.85%. Microwave signal values of the moisture content with the gas rate increasing was decreased, The largest error was 11.87%. (2) The largest uncertainty of the error analysis appeared in the testing of the water content single value under the influence of temperature and gas content, and the uncertainty was respectively 3.4% and 6.6%.This experimental study provides theoretical basis and realistic reference basis for water content testing at high temperature and high water content crude.
