Moisture content of crude oil has been an-important detection parameters in the oil industry. This parameter measurement is of great significance for oil extraction, dehydration, gathering and transportation, etc.. Because of two-phase or multiphase flow is not only more complex of the flow characteristics than the one-way flow, but also has inter-phase interface effect and the existence of relative velocity, so that the line detection of the parameters is very difficult. Crude accurate measurement of moisture content has been an international exploration and research problem.Microwave technology has many advantadges, such as real-time and good reliability, high measurement accuracy (high accuracy is not high moisture content), anti-interference ability, and easy operation without the use of radiation damage, etc.. It's easy to achieve without losses, real-time, on-line rapid measurement, it is application prospect is of broad. In this paper, the line measurement of moisture content of crude oil is selected by the microwave transmission method. Based on microwave transmission principle, we design a suitable measurement of moisture content range of 0 ~ 100% of the online measurement of moisture content of the crude experimental setup.The main research work in this article are as follows:1. Analyzed and compared the Principle and advantages and disadvantages of currently used line detection methods. Expounded the principle of microwave transmission method and characteristics.2. Analysis of the dielectric constant and dielectric constant of the influencing factors, set up a microwave transmission oil-gas-water multiphase flow physical model and mathematical model, and derives the formula for calculating the moisture content.3. Analysis of multi-sensor information fusion technology, the use of improved BP neural network, set up the influential factors and microwave measurements of many parameters of neural network prediction model for water content.4. Based on microwave transmission method, designed a set of the experimental device of oil-gas-water multiphase flow-line measurement of moisture content. Include: microwave detection devices, microwave measurement tube sections, the new gravity-type oil-water separator, static mixing phase,signal acquisition systems, power cycle devices and accessories.
