This paper mainly research on technology of drilling coal holes dry and collecting dust at orifice, developing collector device. On the basis of analysis the status quo of collecting dust at orifice home and abroad, using dust-related theoretical knowledge and field survey results, the principle of collection dust for cyclone, gravity and spray, preliminarily devised a set of device that collected dust at orifice when duilling dry for mine gas drainage holes.Investigated current status of collecting dust for gas drainage hole drilling dry at Xingzhuangzi Mine, Measured parameters such as dust concentration, dust production intensity, particle size and dispersion of the dust, coal dust wettability, analyzed the characteristics of producing dust at the orifice when drilling dry. Through the analysis of principles related to dust, designed a new type of dust collector device preliminary,it consists four major components that are closed sealing device, gravity sedimentation device, cyclone dust collector and reduced-dust of spray device. The core part of the device is cyclone dust collector, which not only the key factor for reducing the dust concentration but also the main device for improving the collection efficiency.Used the existed platform of Dust Lab, it measured the pressure loss and collection efficiency about the cyclone dust collector. analyzed its influence or relationship among collection efficiency, pressure loss, inlet velocity, dust concentration at the entrance and so on.
