Chongqing Fdi And Industrial Agglomeration Relationship Studies

Since the1980s, economic globalization continue to strengthen, international trade,international cooperation and international investment have developed rapidly. As afertile land for investment, China attracted a lot of FDI into. China's industrial structureand layout has changed a lot. At the same time, the phenomenon of industrialagglomeration have appeared both in developed and developing countries. Industrialagglomeration has made a great contribution to economic development.The research object of this article is FDI and industrial agglomeration. With thetheory of foreign direct investment and industrial agglomeration, this article researchesthe relationship between foreign direct investment and industrial agglomeration, usesthe method of combining theoretical research with empirical research. This article isdivided into six parts. The first part provides an overview of the contextual meaning ofthis article topics and research methods, innovation, etc. The second part reviews thetheories of foreign direct investment and industrial agglomeration. The third part is thetheoretical analysis of the relationship between foreign direct investment andagglomeration, at first,introduces the formation of FDI and industrial agglomeration,then analyzes the FDI's promoting function to industrial agglomeration and theattraction of industrial agglomeration. The fourth part introduces a number of indicatorsto measure the level of industrial agglomeration, and quantificationally describes thestatus quo of FDI and industrial agglomeration in Chongqing. The fifth part is anempirical analysis with the data of FDI and industrial agglomeration in Chongqing, andan analysis of the impact factors of FDI; In the sixth part, this paper draws a conclusionin accordance with the preceding analysis, puts forward some policy Suggestions. Aftera multi-angle analysis, the final conclusion is: there is a complementary relationshipbetween FDI and industrial agglomeration. FDI can solve the problem of shortage offunds in regional development, provides a lot of employment opportunities,advancedtechnology and management, promotes knowledge spillover, improve the local industrychain, promotes local industrial agglomeration. Because of the factors of economies ofscale,information cost and transaction cost, raising the level of industrial agglomerationwill attract more FDI, thus forms a virtuous circle.
