Oil drilling engineering,as one of the most important functions of oil exploration, is an extremely complex projects. Because of the complexity and the concealment of the formation, we can only observe the downhole state through the sensor. Therefore, sensors in drilling engineering plays an important role as the "supervisor". The reliability of the sensor is the premise and guarantee of the normal operation of the drilling system.In the drilling field, the normal operation is now mostly ensured through site sensor checking and correction. It not only takes a lot of manpower and material resources, but also loses the character of real-time. The Fault Diagnosis System of the Sensors for Remote Logging provides a reasonable strategy for oil field fault diagnosis.Based on the character of data acquisition monitoring system and the frame structure, this paper designs and realizes a sensor fault diagnosis system of remote logging.Through analyzing and calculating the logging parameters of data center, the system can see whether the sensor fault is occurring or not. Meanwhile, it gives the warning prompt.This paper firstly introduces the sensor of logging system,and analyzes the ralation between engineering accidents and the sensor signal. It then describes the overall design of the system of the structure, function module,and software design. According to the WITS standard, the paper introduces the data model and database structure. At the same time, it analyses the software design of judging the state andthe important logging parameters of the drilling system.This paper describes the common sensor fault, and establishes two sets of time system according to the fault dynamic characteristic differences. According to the standard whether confusing with engineering accident, the system divides the sensor fault into two types, and supplies two different solutions, which are threshold value method and sensor association. Then, the basic principle of the sensor connection method, and the specific diagnosis process are given. Afterwards, pump pressure sensor is simulated as an example.The realization of remote sensor fault diagnosis online improves the automation level and the digitalization of oilfield.
