The complexity phenomenon which are randomness and scale invariance nails biting of Linear scientific become clear can understand analyzed by fractal theory. Not only the problem of smoothed curve-fitting but also non-smoothed could be solved by the thory of Fractal Interp Function. The master thesis deal the mineral resources potential evaluation of Limestone quarry of Kaixian of Chongqing in traditional geometrical method firstly, then using the matrix and powerful function of drawing of MATLAB, doing the algorithm analysis, writing the MATLAB programs in C language. The master thesis imitates the simulated mining landforms by applying fractal interpolation algorithm, does the integral of irregular massif, and does the other resource estimation. The relative error of the two methods is 0.27%. For Kaixian county lime quarries reserves estimation this kind of simple but abnormality of trival, in our country, the master thesis makes a massive existence to seek a more simple more suitable method and a lot of save time and manpower.
